Coldplay released a new song – it’s called All I Can Think About is You. The song will be featured on their EP out July 14th.
Dr. Dre Donates $10M to Compton
Dr. Dre just donated $10M to his hometown school district in Compton California. The donation will go to the construction of a new performing arts center that’s expected to break ground in 2020. Dre said his goal is to provide kids the kind of tools and learning they deserve.
Is Taylor Swift in Selena Gomez’ New Video?
So funny — I told you yesterday about Selena Gomez’ music video for Bad Liar, but people started noticing that there’s another familiar face in the video besides Selena’s. It looks like Taylor Swift is in a poster on Selena’s bedroom wall. Ha!
Obama Leaves Words for Jay Z’s Songwriters HOF Induction
Jay Z became the first rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame last night – though he was absent amid speculation that Beyonce had her twins. President Obama left a video message for Jay, noting that the two understand each other. Obama said no one would’ve expected either of them to be where they are today – and they both try to carve a path for those who come after them.
Lorde Admits to the Onion Rings Instagram Account
I told you earlier this week that there is an onion ring review Instagram account that people are convinced Lorde was running – based upon the locations of the reviews and how it matched up to her tour dates, things like that. Welp, she was on Jimmy Fallon last night and he asked her about it. BTW… she revealed her 2018 North American Tour Dates. She’ll be swinging through TD Garden April 3.
Chance the Rapper Giving Back to Chicago Again
This is awesome – Chance the Rapper continues to give back to his home town of Chicago. He’s teamed up with an organization called Chicago Beyond, and is inviting organizations to submit ideas that will benefit Chicagoans between the ages of 13-25. Some of those organizations will receive funding to help their ideas come to fruition.
